Prayer Points

• For God's blessing in taking Christ to the people of Trujillo, Peru!
• For Mike, Danell, Skylar and Nicole Bukta as they adjust to living in Trujillo, Peru and their learning to function in Spanish
• For Pato and Maggi, Chilean church planters, who are working in Trujillo to help lead the team on field
• For the Buktas as they will work with the short term teams that go to Peru
• For John and Carla Hendee as they work toward the starting of Project New Hope with up to 10 big sister churches partnering in this effort
• For John as he travels, tells of Project New Hope and enlists these new partners
• For several church leaders who will be visiting Peru from May 1st-8th with John Hendee and Tom Chamberlin as they plan for action

New Field - Peru

It's official! John and Carla Hendee have become a part of the Team Expansion family and they are heading up a project in the new field of Peru. The Hendees have just concluded 12 years of service in Chile where they have assisted in the planting of churches and the training of leaders for those churches. They also have planted the El Faro (The Lighthouse) church in a poor neighborhood where community outreach programs have been a key to reaching the people there with the gospel of Christ.

Plans are for a similar approach to be used in Peru utilizing Chilean and Peruvian church planters to plant 10 cell churches simultaneously in the same city. There is a lot to do to see "Project New Hope" come to fruition in Peru. So please pray for the Hendees, the developing team for Peru, the plan of action to take Christ to an entire city, and for the growth of the kingdom in Peru!
